I’ve own one D70 approx. one year after it’s released. I got it as a gift for by 15th birthday. Before D70, I used to use a combination of N70 and N90s.

Lots of camera come and go between the D70 release and this write up. But I felt that I still have to weigh in. This D70 has travel with me halfway round the world from Jogjakarta, Bandung, Denpasar, Anai valley, to Uji-Japan, to Marseille-France. It has gone under the waterfall and below mountain top. It rarely fail me. And even when it did, it didn’t fail completely. Like when it decided it didn’t like the waterfall in gunung bunder, the camera didn’t died right there and then, it only make ‘unnatural’ sound.

    - this is it for now - will continue when I got back to a properr workstation.

  • My Bag(s) Content

As of today, I personally have 4 bags that are -semi- ready to go. a Wilderness, a Timberland messenger bag, a Nat Geo backpack, a custom camera bag, and a dedicated Airsoft gear bag. 3 out of 5 of those bag are always ready to be grabbed and thrown to my sorry back. currently, that previledge goes to the wilderness bag-laptop and uni things-, custom camera bag, and the airsoft kit bag.

    Let’s go thru those bags…

    The Airsoft Kit Bag contains:

the BDU of the week, be it a Multicam, Tiger Stripe, or just plain OD/Black

a choice of vest. either a CIRAS or an ALICE.

a Bag of 4000rds of BB to be used with the AR carbines with 10-30round AR magazine.

and a slew of protective gear - Googles, Pads, and Gloves.

The Timberland usually contain roughly the same thing as The Wilderness bag.

a 12″ pBook, notepads, pens, pencils, calculators, and rolls of assorted currency…

The Camera bag :) I usually interchange between a custom bag I get in 2006 and a Billingham that I got from my dad.

D70 with 55mm Micro on the mount with 18-55 and  55-200 on the sides… I like the versatility it offer. but I’m considering swapping the 55mm with either a 20mm or a 35mm for everyday shots…

beside the camera and it’s acompanying lens, I usually also pack 4 gig worth of memory card and an iPod.

Guess that’s it for now… gonna head home as the rain has stopped… -finally-

    so who am I?

I’m an undergraduate at Prasetiya Mulya Business School. I’m also a photographer, an all-round geek, and a military enthusiast. I depend on my iMac and 12″ PowerBook for all -movie, photo, music, codes, etc- stuff. My other tool is a Nikon D70 ~gonna upgrade to D90 as soon as it hit the Indonesian market~ and a 55 mm micro lens - among other lenses, but this one is my fave ~ … I’m single and not really looking ~school and side jobs occupied me enough these day~

Currently, I’m starting my own business, a bag business, a web design firm, and freelancing as a photographer.

I guess that’s that for now. cya next update.
